Pigs are highly prolific among meat producing livestock. The pigs excel all other type of farm animals in the efficiency of converting feed into high quality pork. Pigs requires different stages of growth complete food which is having quality nutrition. Pig feed having blend of highly digestible quality fat, proteins, energy, vitamin, mineral and natural growth promoters required in all age groups. It helps to achieve maximum growth and body weight in all stages of pigs.
PIG FEEDS AND FEEDING METHODS:
1. Creep feeding is essential for piglets suckling their mothers for the faster growth.
2. The sows milk is unable to support growth of piglets exclusively on milk. Hence Nuvita pig creep feed must introduced at 7-10 days of age and continued up to 56 days of at which piglets are weaned from the mother.
3. After weaning start Nuvita pig grower/ Sow and weaner meal upto attaining 35 kg live weight and Nuvita pig finisher from 35 kg onwards. You may feed concurrently with swill and green.
4. Porkers (pig for slaughter) should be left to feed through out to reach slaughter weight as early as possible, say 130-150days of age.
